POSTMASTER GENERAL, GOA REGION, TO HOLD 21ST REGIONAL LEVEL DAK ADALAT ON 20TH MARCH

The 61st Regional Level Dak Adalat will be held at the office of the Postmaster General, Goa Region, Panaji, at 11:00 AM on 20th March 2025. The initiative is aimed at addressing and resolving grievances and complaints related to postal services within the Goa region that have remained unresolved for over six weeks.

The Dak Adalat will focus on complaints regarding Mails, Speed Post, Counter Services, Savings Banks, and non-payment of Money Orders. Customers who have experienced issues in these areas are encouraged to submit their complaints in duplicate to the Assistant Director Postal Services-1, Office of the Postmaster General, Goa Region, Panaji 403001.

The complaints should include specific details such as dates, names, and designations of the officers to whom the original complaint was addressed, along with a brief description of the issue. The last date for submission of complaints is 12th March.

The Department of Posts recognises that, while it strives to provide the best possible service, communication gaps and service faults may occasionally arise, leading to grievances.

The Department has organised these adalats to meet with aggrieved customers, collect details about their complaints, and work towards resolving them as quickly as possible. By holding such events, the Department ensures that customer concerns are given timely attention and that their satisfaction is a top priority.
