A memorandum of understanding between Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT) Government of India and Directorate of Official Language, Government of Goa; is set to boost the endeavour of aspirants of official language expertise as comprehending scientific terminologies becomes smoother.
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant witnessed the signing of the MoU, in the presence of CSTT Chairman Girish Nath, Director Official Language Prashant Shirodkar among others.
‘Prashasanik Shabdavali’- Glossary of Administrative terms, was also launched on the occasion. “The MoU and initiative shall enable students in Goa to read, learn, understand scientific terminologies in English into Konkani and strengthen implementation of the New Education Policy in the state,” remarked Dr Sawant.
