Noted classical singer Pravin Gaonkar and his disciple, Pallavi Patil will be performing at a special music concert to commemorate the 50th death anniversary of Goa’s first Chief Minister Late Dayanand ‘Bhausaheb’ Bandodkar on Sunday, 13th August at Khandola, Marcel.
Gaonkar and Patil will be accompanied by Dattaraj Shetye (tabla), Vishnu Shirodkar (keyboards), Rohit Wankar (flute), Subhash Fatarpekar (harmonium), Kishor Teli (pakhawaj) and Yogesh Raikar (side rhythm).
Gaonkar and team will be performing abhangs, natyageet, bhaavgeet and Hindi bhajans at this concert, which will be held at Royal Sabhagraha, Big-B, Khandola, at 5pm. The concert has been organised by the Bandodkar family and is free and open to the public.
