Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant accompanied by Shrinivas Dempo, President of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partgali Jivottam Math (SSGPJM), Canacona, and R.R Kamath, Vice-President of SSGPJM; called on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partgali Jivottam Math will be celebrating its 550th anniversary later this year and the Prime Minister has been extended an invitation on the grand occasion.
Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partgali Jivottam Math was established under the Dvaita order of Jagadguru Madhvacharya in the 13th Century.
Dr. Sawant presented “Temples of Goa – A Spiritual Odyssey” book to the Prime Minister. The book has been published by World Konkani Centre, Mangaluru, and reprinted by Government of Goa.
