Aaron Farias and Ishita Colaso showcased their exceptional talent by securing double crowns each at the Priority Gaspar Dias Open All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament. The annual event organised by Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association, also celebrated the victories of Neeza Kamat (in Women’s event), Yug Prabhu (U11 Boys), Sachi Dessai (U11 Girls), Atharv Dhulapkar (U15 Boys), Clyde Barreto (40+), Satish Agrahar (50+), and Arun Naik (60+) who clinched title in their respective categories.
The runners-up, who put up commendable performances included Ishaan Colaso (U11 Boys), Tisha Shaikh (U11 Girls), Rishan Shaikh (U15 & U17 Boys), Neeza Kamat (U15 Girls), Pradnya Caro (U17 Girls & Women), Anshuman Agarwal (Men’s), Shawn Soares (40+), Yusuf Shaikh (50+), and Prakash Alfonso (60+).
The closing ceremony was graced by Parind Nachinolkar, MD of Priority Constructions, Sudin Verenkar, President of GTTA, and Christopher Menezes, Secretary of GTTA; Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias office-bearers – Tanmay Kholkar (Secretary), Edwin Menezes (Joint-Treasurer), and Sairaj Dhond (Chairperson, Sports Committee) among others.
