Transport Minister, Mauvin Godinho attended the launch of the ‘Safety First – Empowering and Protecting Women and Children in Goa’ initiative organised by the Corporation of the City of Panaji in collaboration with Goa Police and SCAN – Goa, at the KTCL Bus Stand, Panaji on Wednesday.
As part of this important campaign, awareness posters and helpline stickers were placed inside Kadamba buses, private buses, taxis, and rickshaws; promoting safer and more secure public travel for women and children.
CCP Mayor Rohit Monserrate – CCP Mayor, Adv. Emidio Pinho, officials from CCP, KTC, SCAN, and students of Don Bosco College, Panaji, were also present.
