Samskrita Bharati and Department of Information & Publicity organised the 6th International Samskrita Short Film Festival at Maquinez Palace auditorium, Panaji.
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant was pleased with the response to the festival and expressed confidence that Goa will produce talented Sanskrit students in the near future. “I am pleased to witness the participation and enthusiasm of youth in creating modern stories in our ancient language,” stated the Chief Minister.
“The Government of Goa is steadfast in its commitment to support all the efforts towards Sanskrit learning and use of the ancient language. The government will be strengthening courses in educational institutions with permanent faculties,” emphasised the Chief Minister.
Dr Sawant felicitated the cast & crew of Sanskrit short films created by school children.
