Sreenath Sreenivasan emerged the champion at the Sportz Goa Salvador Tennis League 2023-24, organised by Sportz Goa Tennis Academy at Salvador do Mundo, North Goa.
In the grand finale on Sunday evening, Sreenath got the better of higher-rated Chandrakant Fulshe 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 in one hour and 47 minutes.
Chandrakant, who was the top-seed, had won all 13 matches in the league on the way to the final. On the other hand, 8th-seeded Sreenath had lost twice in the league stage while winning 10 ties. In all, 27 players took part in the league.
