Strengthening its footprint in the West, United Colors of Benetton India today announced the opening of its seventh store in Goa aligning it with the global stores. Based on the London store concept, whose name is derived from the first store located at Oxford Street London; the store not only stocks a complete range of Benetton Menswear, Women’s wear and Kids wear but also Casa Benetton. The London store concept houses elements such as informal lounge and hi tech spaces across the store to offer the ultimate brand and shopping experience.
Located on the Chogm Road-Bardez, the building that houses Benetton’s new store is inspired by The Palazzo del Capitaniato also known as loggia del Capitanio, Vicenza Italy. The new store is destination store where the brand’s perspective is represented through the aesthetics, interior and merchandise to the outer world. Spread across 3100 sq.ft., the store is designed to reflect the vibrant and breezy state of Goa. The walls adorn the Graffiti art that portrays Benetton’s world through the lens of Goa.
The store also houses a customization corner, built to make the experience more personal and heartwarming for the consumer. Furnished with natural materials such as wood, the store is designed to offer an ultimate brand experience that goes beyond the traditional idea of a shop. Furniture is made in actual wood, trial rooms have been given a wooden look by using wood veneers, and walls of retail areas are cladded in Fermacell board.. Overall, the look and feel of the store has been elevated to provide a premium brand experience, stated a press release.
