Chandan Caro, Ishita Colaso, Ruhaan Shaikh, Anaya Shukla, Aarna Lotlikar, and Ishaan Colaso emerged champions at the 5th Naguesh and Sushila Verenkar Memorial All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, held at the Chandor Club Multipurpose Hall and organized by Chandor Club under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association.
In the U15 Boys final, Chandan Caro bounced back after dropping the first game to defeat Ruhaan Shaikh 3-1 (9-11, 11-2, 11-8, 11-8), while Ishita Colaso displayed her class to beat Aarna Lotlikar 3-1 (11-3, 11-7, 6-11, 11-3) in the U15 Girls final. Ruhaan earlier claimed the U13 Boys title in a thrilling five-game battle against Yug Prabhu 3-2 (11-8, 7-11, 11-9, 8-11, 11-9), while Aarna Lotlikar defeated Aayushi Amonkar to secure the U13 Girls crown.
In the youngest categories, Ishaan Colaso clinched the U11 Boys title with a fluent 3-0 (14-12, 11-9, 11-3) win over Ashank Dalvi, and Anaya Shukla outclassed Shaurya Dessai 3-0 (11-5, 11-5, 11-5) in the U11 Girls final. Special prizes were awarded to the U11 and U13 semi-finalists — Aarish Shaikh, Vardhan Verlekar, Claire George, Tvisha Kotkar, Ishaan Colaso, Vedant Wagle, Sachi Dessai, and Tisha Shaikh — in recognition of their outstanding performances.
