Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant laid the foundation stone for several significant infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing public utilities and beautification at Poriem, Sattari.
These initiatives to be implemented under various departments and the MLA LAD scheme, were launched in the presence of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar; MLA Dr. Deviya Rane.
Brief information about the projects:
• Repair and Beautification of Shri Sateri Temple in Keri, contributing to the preservation of our cultural heritage.
• Construction of the 15 MLD Water Treatment Plant at Morlem, Sattari, to ensure clean and safe drinking water for the community.
• Provision and Laying of Rising and Conveying Mains across several areas in Sattari Taluka, including Phayat, Marien, Poriem, Pissurlem, Honda, and Querim, to improve water supply infrastructure.
• Installation of KY Underground Cable from Valpoi Substation to Shiginem-Pissurlem under Bicholim Subdivision, enhancing the reliability of power distribution in the region.
• Development of Wellness destination centre & Eco-Cottages at Anjunem
The Chief Minister highlighted that the Government of Goa remains steadfast in its commitment to holistic development, ensuring last-mile delivery of infrastructure and fostering an improved quality of life for all its citizens.
