Goa Badminton Association Secretary Sandeep Heble has been appointed the ‘Chef De Mission’ for the 37th National Games in Goa.
Heble, who has been appointed to the coveted position by Goa Olympic Association, shared his joy, saying: “This appointment is both an immense honour and a significant responsibility. I am excited to be part of Team Goa and will do my utmost to contribute positively. Together, let’s create unforgettable memories during these games!
“I want to express my gratitude to the GOA President, Secretary General, GOA Council, State Sports Associations, the SAG and to each one for your unwavering support.”
Heble, who is a Member of Age-Fraud committee of Badminton Association of India, also shared his perspective on the biggest multi-sport extravaganza to be hosted by Goa, saying: “After a long wait, our athletes are eagerly anticipating this prestigious event, which is making its debut in our state. I’m honoured to have the Goa Olympic Association’s trust in me, and I eagerly await the Games like the rest of Goa, ready to collaborate with athletes, the Goa Government, the National Games Committee, State Sports Associations, and other stakeholders. Together, we will all strive to do our bit to transform this mega event into a resounding success, leaving a lasting sports legacy for Goa.
