PANAJI: ‘YouWeCan’ a non-profit organisation established by cricketer and cancer survivor Yuvraj Singh, on 28th May 2022, organised a Breast Cancer screening camp at Sandu Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Goa.
The camp was for women over the age of 25 years working in the Pilerene Industrial Estate. Women from various industries were made aware of methods of testing and were screened for Breast Cancer at Sandu’s facility by Dr. Niky Hadfadkar of YouWeCan. The camp was a success as over 70 women were made aware about breast cancer and were tested for free, states a press release.
YouWeCan’s mission is to empower all people to fight cancer, through awareness, early detection, patient support and survivor empowerment.
