Vidya Prabodhini HSS, Porvorim, bagged the state level team championship in U-19 boys boxing competition organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Peddem sports Complex.
Vidya Prabodhini HSS scored 13 points by winning 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal. Sahil Makandar and Shriniwas Lamani clinched gold medal each while Yuvraj Chawan won a silver medal.
Shree Ganesh HSS, Ganeshpuri, and Govt. Multipurpose HSS, Borda, scored 5 points each with 1 gold medal apiece, to emerge joint runners-up.
