Goa Chief Minister’s Apprenticeship Policy for Government Establishments 2023 has been notified recently and so far, around 4000 people have registered. The target is to hand out 10,000 offer letters on July 15 with 5000 opportunities each in the government and private establishments.
Director of the Directorate of Skill Development & Entreprenuership, SS Gaonkar on Thursday, explained the steps involved in completing the online process to seek the apprenticeship opportunities.
•Register on the National Apprenticeship Portal www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
•Complete eKYC using the mobile number linked with Adhaar Card
•Enter the Educational Qualifications and upload the required documents (15 years Residence Certificate to be uploaded in case of applying for Govt establishments)
•Search opportunities under the ‘Opportunities’ tab by applying filters like location, qualification, course name etc
•Click on ‘apply’ to submit the application for the selected opportunity. Selection in the Govt establishments will be done on first come first served basis depending on other factors
•Check ‘Contracts’ tab regularly to view contracts issued by establishments and accept the contract of choice at the earliest.
