Goa stretched their medal-winning run into the Athletics competition that commenced at Sports Authority of Goa’s Athletics Stadium, with Ajay Kumar finishing third in the men’s 5000m run at the 37th National Games Goa 2023 on Sunday evening.
Ajay Kumar clocked 14:13.33 for his bronze-medal effort. He finished behind gold-medallist Gulveer Singh of Services (14:13.03) and Gavit Murli Kumar of Gujarat (14:13.14), who bagged the silver medal.
