Just as every drop of blood matters to the lives of people, similarly, every vote matters; stated Chief Electoral Officer Ramesh Verma, IAS, after participating in a Blood Donation Camp organised by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Goa, in collaboration with the Blood Bank, Goa Medical College, at Rajya Kar Bhavan, Altinho-Panaji on Sunday. Ensuring adequate facilities at polling stations, Verma urged all citizens to cast their votes on May 7, 2024.
On the occasion of World Health Day, Triveni Velip, Joint-CEO, underscored the significance of organising such camps. Appreciating the invaluable support of the Blood Bank, GMC, towards this initiative, she expressed gratitude to all the donors who actively participated.”
CEO, Ramesh Verma, IAS also donated blood on the occasion. The camp witnessed the participation of around 40 donors. The camp aimed to underscore the importance of both blood donation and voter engagement, highlighting that every drop of blood and every vote cast plays a crucial role in building a better society.
