Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant attended the celebration of the World Environtment Day programme organised by Department of Environment & Climate Change, Government of Goa in collaboration with Goa State Pollution Control Board and Goa State Biodiversity Board, in Panaji.
The theme of the programme was ‘Land Restoration, Desertification & Drought Resilience’ with the slogan “Our Land, Our Future, We are Generation Restoration”.
Minister for Environment & Climate Change, Aleixo Sequeira; MLA Alexio Reginaldo Lourenco; Chief Secretary, Dr. Puneet Kumar Goel, IAS, Principal Secretary (Finance), Dr. V. Chandavelou, IAS, Chairman-GSPCB, Mahesh Patil were present.
