Goan squash icon Yash Fadte, now based in USA at the University of Rochester; has been honoured with the prestigious College Squash Association (CSA) Skillman Award, recognising his exceptional sportsmanship and skill throughout his collegiate career. This accolade places him among the elite in men’s college squash.
Fadte’s remarkable journey includes a 12-7 record this season, consistently leading as Rochester’s number one player, and achieving a career total of 52 wins, ranking him in the top ten all-time for the program. His dedication has earned him multiple accolades, including three First Team All-Liberty League selections and the 2023 Liberty League Player of the Year title.
Reflecting on this award, Fadte expressed immense pride and gratitude, acknowledging the unwavering support of his coaches, teammates, and family. He emphasised that this award is a testament to the collective effort and passion of the entire Rochester squash community.
