The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Goa is underway in full swing with the field visits of Booth Level Officers (BLOs), BLO Supervisors and the election officials, according to a press note issued by the Office of Chief Electoral Officer, Altinho-Panaji.
As of today till 04:00 pm, 9,67,451 Enumeration Forms i.e. 81.64% of the total 11,85,034 electors in Goa, have been distributed.
1725 BLOs are going house to house to distribute and help the electors to fill out their Enumeration Forms.
1121 volunteers are also working on the field to facilitate the elderly, PwDs, sick and vulnerable populations in the SIR process.
1892 Booth Level Agents (BLAs) appointed by various political parties are also providing active support in the SIR process.
