The two-day 22nd State Youth festival 2025 commenced in Panaji on Monday. The event, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Govt of Goa in collaboration with Ministry of youth Affairs & Sports, Govt of India; was inaugurated by Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar.
Santosh Sukhadeve, Secretary, Sports; Dr. Ajay Gaude, Director of Sports and Youth Affairs; Vivek Pawar, Deputy Director, DSYA and Pandurang Naik, APEO and Festival Incharge, were also present.
Various competitions – Folk dance, Painting, Declamation, Poetry Writing, Rangoli, Photography; are being conducted at the youth festival.
The toppers will qualify for the National Youth Festival 2026 to be held in New Delhi.
