Sports Authority of Goa’s Athletics Stadium at Bambolim, has been named as ‘Atal Stadium’ in memory of the former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant graced the occasion. Sports Minister Ramesh B. Tawadkar was also present among others.
The naming function was organised by Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs,Govt of Goa and Sports Authority of Goa on Wednesday.
