Clarence Noronha and Rajendra Godinho topped a strong campaign by clinching the Men’s Doubles 50+ title with a composed 11–5, 11–8 win over Noel Noronha and Wilfred Jacques on the concluding day of the BPS Open Pickleball Championship 2026 at the BPS Sports Club, Margao.
In the Open Mixed Doubles final, Kane Roncon Pereira and Ruta Borkar delivered a dominant performance, defeating Joshua Menezes and Audrey Menezes 11–2, 11–5 to secure the title after a steady progression through the knockout rounds.
The Men’s Doubles (Open) final saw Rahil Peris and Torcato Vaz overcome Immanuel Rohan and Joshua Menezes in a three-game contest, 6–11, 11–5, 11–7. Earlier in the semifinals, Rahil and Torcato had beaten Chinmay Kantak and Nihaal Borkar 15–6, while Immanuel and Joshua edged Anurag Agarwal and Kane Roncon Pereira 15–13.
In the Men’s Singles 35+ category, Immanuel Rohan defeated Nihaal Borkar 15–8 in the final. Nihaal had earlier overcome Nishant Verghese 15–5 in the semifinals, while Immanuel prevailed over Tarun 15–13.
In the Men’s Doubles 50+ semifinals, Clarence Noronha and Rajendra Godinho defeated Gaurav Sapra and Karan Singh 15–7, while Noel Noronha and Wilfred Jacques got the better of Bipin Kantak and Subodh Shevde 15–8. The quarterfinal stage had seen Clarence and Rajendra eliminate Lincoln and Savio Vales 15–5 and Noel and Wilfred register a 15–1 win over Bosco Ravi Rebello and Ryan Costa.
The Open Mixed Doubles semifinals featured Kane and Ruta defeating Vishnu and Aditi Chodankar 15–7, while Joshua and Audrey beat Immanuel and Aarushi 15–6. In the quarterfinals, Kane and Ruta had overcome Peter and Deepashree 15–3.
Across categories, the final day reflected the tournament’s competitive depth, with closely fought knockout matches and repeat face-offs between seasoned rivals.
The championship concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, marking the end of a three-day event that drew strong participation across age-groups and categories at the iconic BPS Sports Club, Margao.
