SAIL GOA 2026: GOA SAILORS LEAD IN RACEBOARD YOUTH DIVISION IN PERFECT WINDURFING CONDITIONS

Day 3 at the Sail Goa 2026, the Zonal windsurfing championship was blessed by the wind Gods. The morning session saw winds of 8.4 knots gusting to 10 knots, the prefect conditions for the Techno 293OD class and the Raceboard class.

The Techno 293OD U17 Men’s Division saw the leader Mohit Mhatre of Yachting Association of Maharashtra (YAM) consolidating his position at the top, however the second place saw Rajput Soham of NSS surpassing Soumyajeet Ray, while in the U17 Womens division,
Priyanshi Patil of YAM maintained her lead at the top.

In the U15 Boys division, Om Korvi of MG & G Area is ahead of Vihan Prakash of CESC and in the U15 Girls Vaishnavi Kajale of MG & G Area has a comfortable lead over Ananya Awadiya of NSS Bhopal.

In the Raceboard Mens Division DP Chennaiah of EMESC continued his indomitable form taking 8 out of 10 guns so far to almost comfirm his gold medal with just 2 races left for the last day.

In the Youth Division, Goa Yachting Association’s Urvi Shirodkar and Siddhant Guttikunda are leading in their respective divisions.

In the iQFOil Men Division, Ebad Ali of Army Yachting Node with all 10 guns so far has, cemented the Gold medal ahead of Nanhe Raja of NSS Bhopal whose Silver is also confirmed. The contention for the Bronze however is still wide open between NS Rawat of INWTC Goa and Mithilesh Kumar of AYN. In the Womens division Vidhyanshi Mishra of NSS Bhopal has maintained her lead ahead of Nikhamani Bora of SAA, Assam.

In the iQFOil youth boys division Aryan Patidar of NSS Bhopal took all 4 guns today to ensure his Gold Medal while Raaza Khan of OYA  has his Silver assured ahead of Vinay Kulabkar of Navy Youth Sports Company, Goa.
The Open Foil Mens division has an assured winner in Rahul Choudhary of INWTC, Goa.

With the last day of the championship tomorrow there is still a chance of surprises with 2 exciting races still to go.
