SSE-BFC School team from Mumbai played out a thrilling, fast paced 3-3 draw with Jamshedpur at the Don Bosco grounds in Margao on Thursday evening, even as local team Sesa Academy continued their losing streak, going down 1-6 to a very strong, Football 4 Change team in the Dream Sports Championships-AIFF junior league at the Raia grounds.
Chetan Prajit (4th min) and Ranvir Chona ( 50th and 96th min) scored for SSE-BFC while Suklal Jamuda ( 20th), Motay Deogam (43rd) and Marshal Hembram ( 44th) scored for Jamshedpur. In the other big scoring game of the day, Kamgoumin ( 19th, 62nd min ) and P Dekabaruah ( 26th and 41st min), S Singson ( 23rd) and D Haokip ( 48th) were the goalscorers for Football 4 Change. Armstrong Fernandes ( 43rd) scored the consolation goal for Sesa.
In the morning matches, strong teams, East Bengal and Minerva were locked in a 1-1 draw at Raia. M Azam Khan ( 25th min) for Minerva and Arnaav Chettri ( 86th min) for East Bengal were the goal scorers. In Bengaluru’s 2-0 easy win over Sreenidhi, goals were contributed by CH Sakip ( 23rd) and Akash Mondal ( 85th min) at the Don Bosco grounds.
