Margao Marauders, Taleigao Tigers, and Fatorda Flyers emerged as the top three teams as the third edition of the Goa Women’s 3×3 Basketball League concluded on a high note, further cementing its stature as a premier platform for women’s basketball in the state.
A total of 14 teams, divided into two pools, competed at Youth Hostel, Miramar, with the top four teams from each pool progressing to the knockout stages. Margao Marauders clinched the title and a cash prize of ₹30,000, while Taleigao Tigers finished runners-up and Fatorda Flyers secured third place, earning ₹20,000 and ₹10,000 respectively.
Priyanka was adjudged the Most Valuable Player and received ₹10,000, while Sarah Hussain was named Finals MVP. Manasavi topped the scoring charts with an impressive 65 points, including 18 three-pointers, and earned ₹5,000, while Komal was awarded Most Promising Player.
Smita won ₹1,500 in the free throw shootout competition. The awards were presented by Aman Kumar, Senior Pilates & Wellness Professional at Kaizen Wellness Space.
