Goa Table Tennis Association’s High Performance Coaching Camp concluded successfully at Fatorda, Margao, after two weeks of intensive training from May 17 to 29. The camp, powered by Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) and conducted by the South Goa Table Tennis Council, was led by renowned ITTF Certified Level 3 Star Coach R. Rajesh.
A total of 27 players participated in the camp, including 22 of Goa’s top-ranked paddlers and five outstation players – Aditi A. Rao, Harkunwar Singh (National U-19 Gold Medallist), Samyra Rajesh, O.S. Nihaal Ahamed and S.K. Sri Varun – providing the participants valuable exposure to a highly competitive training environment.
The camp focussed on advanced technical, tactical, physical and mental aspects of the game, aimed at preparing players for higher levels of competition. The closing ceremony was graced by Irwin Cordo, Assistant Director (Coaching), Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, along with GTTA President Sudin Verekar, Camp Coordinator Santosh Verekar among others.
