Chandan Caro, Vedant Wagle and Ruhaan Shaikh completed a double by advancing to the semifinals of both the Boys Under-15 and Under-17 categories, while Kaushik Nair and Rishan Shaikh joined them in the Under-15 and Under-17 last four respectively at the 1st All Goa State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, organised by Saxtti Sports & Cultural Club and UV Academy at UV Academy, Margao.
In the Under-15 quarterfinals, Chandan defeated Mission Lalpekhlua 3-0, Vedant beat Ishaan Colaso 3-0, Kaushik outplayed Kangee Mengu 3-0, and Ruhaan overcame Aarish Shaikh 3-0. In the Under-17 category, Chandan, Vedant and Ruhaan registered victories over Neel Sanke (3-0), Kange Mengu (3-0) and Yuvaan Sanke (3-1) respectively, while Rishan defeated Mission Lalpekhlua 3-0.
Meanwhile, Ishita Colaso, Sanisha Sinha, Gianna George and Neeza Kamat progressed to the Girls Under-17 semifinals with wins over Tisha Shaikh, Alyka Fernandes, Aarna Lotlikar and Sachi Dessai respectively.
