FC Goa on Friday, announced the signing of Spanish midfielder Álex Vallejo ahead
of the 2026–27 season. The experienced midfielder joins the Gaurs after an accomplished career across Europe.
A product of Deportivo Alavés’ youth system, Vallejo has represented clubs including Sestao River, RCD Mallorca, Córdoba CF, CF Fuenlabrada, Huddersfield Town (England), Doxa Katokopias (Cyprus), Stal Mielec (Poland), and Diósgyőri VTK (Hungary). His experience across some of Europe’s most competitive leagues brings quality, leadership, and composure to FC Goa’s midfield.
Comfortable operating as a defensive or central midfielder, Vallejo is renowned for his tactical intelligence, composure in possession, and ability to dictate the tempo of a game. His vision, passing range, and wealth of experience make him an exciting addition as the Gaurs prepare for the upcoming campaign.
