Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually address a large number of youth across the country at about 11:00 AM as part of the programme.

Taking the programme to educational institutions across the State, the five identified venues are St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa; Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sankhali; Shri Gopal Gaonkar Memorial Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora; Rosary College of Arts and Commerce, Navelim; and Vidya Prabodhini College, Porvorim. Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant is scheduled to grace the programme at Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sankhali, at about 10:30 AM.

Setting the stage for the national interaction, the programme will feature a series of youth-focused activities, including a MY Bharat and sports achievement montage, a short film on National Sports Day and a film highlighting key aspects of the Prime Minister’s Independence Day 2026 address on the sports sector. The programme will also provide an opportunity for youth, volunteers and sportspersons to come together, share experiences and engage on the importance of sports and fitness.

Promoting the spirit of sports and active youth participation, the programme is envisaged as a youth-centric initiative encouraging sports, physical fitness, discipline, dedication, perseverance, teamwork and leadership. MY Bharat Volunteers, NSS Volunteers, students and youth from across the State are expected to participate, while eminent sportspersons and youth moderators will share their experiences and insights. The interaction will also provide an opportunity to encourage greater participation in sports and contribute towards a healthy and active society.
