Taking governance closer to the people, the Government of Goa is organising the statewide ‘Sarkar Tumchya Daari’ programme under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM across 10 talukas. The initiative will provide citizens with an opportunity to directly interact with the Chief Minister and State Ministers, raise their concerns and seek assistance in resolving public grievances.
Bringing administration closer to every community, the programme will be held simultaneously at designated venues across Pernem, Salcete, Bicholim, Sattari, Tiswadi, Ponda, Mormugao, Sanguem, Dharbandora and Canacona. Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant will preside over the programme in Pernem, while designated State Ministers will lead public interactions in the other talukas. Senior IAS and IFS officers will accompany the Chief Minister and Ministers to facilitate coordination and address citizens’ concerns.
Facilitating direct public interaction, appointments for the interaction will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Government officials will be present at the respective venues to assist citizens, facilitate the submission of grievances and guide them towards the appropriate departments for necessary action. The programme aims to strengthen coordination between citizens and the administration and make grievance redressal more accessible at the taluka level.
The programme forms part of the Government of Goa’s Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, reinforcing its focus on accessible, responsive and citizen-centric governance. Through ‘Sarkar Tumchya Daari’, the Government seeks to bring public representatives and officials closer to communities and provide citizens with a direct platform to communicate their concerns.
