PANAJI: Arjuna Awardee Brahmanand Shankhwalkar was among the host of achievers from the Capital City, felicitated on the occasion of 9th Founder’s Day programme of youth organisation ‘Yuva’. The programme was organised by Yuva in association with Directorate of Art and Culture.
‘Yuva’ also organised various activities such as crib presentation, talent presentation and dance performances. More than 300 children participated to showcase their talent, states a press release.
Rohidas Dessai (Freedom Fighter), Narsinha Naik Gaunekar (Financial Services), Avdhut Angle (Social Work), Suhas Sardessai (Education), Avinash T. Kamat (Civil Services), Srinivas Chandelkar (Artist/Business), Dr. Bramhanand Cuncolienkar (Medicine), Brahmanand Shankhwalkar (Sports), Adv. Shubhalaxmi Pai Raikar (Legal Services), Shakuntala Bharne (Music) were nominated for felicitation this year.
The felicitation ceremony was conducted at the hands of Ex-Chief Minister, Laxmikant Parsekar, Founder/Vice-President of Yuva in the presence of other dignitaries.
