Long before the title Fargo became popular as a web series, it was a feature film that won 80 odd awards worldwide. It got 7 Oscar nominations and won 2 of them (Best Screenplay for Coen Brothers and Best Actress for Frances McDormand), and the Best Director at Cannes that year. Considered to be one of the finest films by the Coen brothers, this black comedy crime thriller has a story that revolves around Marge (Frances McDormand) who investigates a series of murders while William H Macy plays a car salesman who wants to kidnap his wife. “Films like Fargo are why I love the movies,” said famed critic Roger Ebert in his review and rated it as the best film of the year.
