Collector of South Goa, Egna Cleetus, IAS, and Director, Tribal Welfare, Dipak Desai inaugurated the District Process Lab training for the North Goa and South Goa District under the ‘Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan’ in Margao.
The ‘Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan’ is the programme of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, New Delhi. The Ministry has implemented the scheme ‘Dharti Aba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan’ under which 25 villages are identified. Through the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs envisions to achieve 100% saturation in these villages.
The three-day District Process Lab training scheduled from 8th to 10th September 2025, envisions to create the block-level master trainers, who will be the torchbearers for the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan at the village-level.
