AIFF-MBP: ONLINE REFRESHER COURSE FOR ‘A & PRO-LICENSED’ COACHES

PANAJI: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has collaborated with MBP School of Coaches to organise the first edition of the online refresher course for A & Pro-licensed coaches. The refresher course is an ongoing process of the AIFF towards the upgradation and professional development of the Indian coaches who would immensely benefit from the experience and knowledge exchange with one of the top coaching institutes globally.

The 3-day course will begin on 1st June 2022 and will include topics around Man-Management, Game-Plan and Set-Pieces. The live sessions would be delivered via video conferencing and the participants shall get exclusive access to the unique MBP e-learning platform. The platform has been tested across 65 countries and integrates over 350 tactical concepts in high performance and youth football, states a press release.

The AIFF shall be awarding 4 CPD (Continuous Professional Development) points to all the participants who complete the course.

AIFF Technical Director, Savio Medeira, who is at the helm of the revolution of coaches development in India believes that this course would help the elite coaches of the country to understand the dynamics of global football and learn about the best practices from the MBP experts. “We are happy to welcome the global experts to help us deliver the highly important refresher course that are necessary to keep ourselves abreast with the dynamics of world football. Coaches’ development is a priority for us, and we see an alignment of vision with MBP School of Coaches. Our aim from this initiative is to provide an opportunity to our highest qualified coaches not only to gain knowledge but also the valuable CPD points that is necessary for them to revalidate their licenses,” said Medeira.

Jaime Fortuño Vidal is the co-founder of the MBP School of Coaches and has overseen the expansion of their brand across the world. India has been an important focus for the institute and this course is an example of their commitment to developing football in the country.
