PANAJI: Ishani Desai clinched a gold medal at the all-Goa speed roller skating competition held at Chinchinim, South Goa recently. The event was organised by S.S Roller Skating Club under the aegis of Goa Skating Association, says a press communique.
Ishani, who trains at Sports and Cultural Youth Club of Don Bosco Oratory-Panaji under the guidance of coach Gareth Vaz, excelled in the Under-14 girls group rink race of 500m and 1000m.
In the U-14 boys category, Palash Dhuri and Dakash Naik (both of DBO-Panaji) clinched silver medal and consolation prize respectively.
