Governor, P S Sreedharan Pillai administered the ‘Oath of Office’ to the newly-appointed State Chief Information Commissioner, Aravind Kumar H. Nair, and State Information Commissioner, Atmaram Ramkrishna Barve at Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula today. Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant also graced the occasion.
Director Information and Publicity, Dipak Bandekar read out the order of Appointment of SCIC and SIC.
Minister for Panchayat Mauvin Godinho, Minister for Law Aleixo Sequeira; MLAs, Advocate General, Devidas Pangam, Rajya Sabha MP, Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Principal Secretary (Finance), Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, DGP Goa; Alok Kumar, IPS, along with other dignitaries were also present.
