Christmas season is a special time of year for giving and to bring out the kid in everyone, hoping for that perfect gift from someone special. “Pandemic has taught us to live a minimalistic life and be grateful to everything and everyone who are facing difficulties on a daily basis. To supplement the compassion that the joyful festival of Christmas offers, one can donate clothes in good condition, toys, stationaries, books, bags, blankets etc across different locations in state.
Boxes towards collection of gifts will be placed at strategic drop-off locations from 8am to 8pm as follows: 15th to 17th Dec’21 at Counto – Honda near Vrundavan apartments – Bicholim and Bicholim Merchants Urban Co-op Credit Society – Bicholim; 16th to 17th Dec’21 at Nestle – Bicholim; 16th to 22nd Dec’21 at Institute Piedade-Near SBI ATM, Panaji and Magsons Porvorim; 18th to 22nd Dec’21 at Caculo Mall-St. Inez- Panaji and Delfinos (Porvorim, Taleigao and Candolim)
The supporting partners for this initiative are Director of Caritas, Fr.Maverick Fernandes, Rotaract Club of Bicholim, Rotary Club of Bicholim, Rotary Club of Porvorim, Caculo Mall, Magsons, Cloth Care and Delfinos.
