‘CAMPUS TO CAREER’ INITIATIVE SET TO BOOST EMPLOYMENT & APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN GOA

Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant launched the ‘Campus to Career’ initiative with the aim of strengthening the vital bridge between academia and industry, creating meaningful employment and apprenticeship opportunities for the youth.

The programme is a collaborative initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa, Goa State Higher Education Council (GSHEC), Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), and the Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce (DITC).

The programme focusses on:
• Building a strong work culture among students
• Making youth industry-ready through practical exposure
• Encouraging early career counselling in educational institutions
• Expanding apprenticeship opportunities through government portals
• Promoting entrepreneurship through EDC & EDII initiatives
• Supporting emerging sectors and knowledge-based industries

The beneficiaries under the RAMP Programme were felicitated on the occasion.

“With continued collaboration between the Government, institutions, and industry leaders, Goa is steadily progressing towards empowering its youth and building a robust, future-ready workforce,” emphasised the Chief Minister.
