Chandan Caro and Ishita Colaso emerged double crown winners at the 2nd All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, organised by Ponda Table Tennis Sports Club under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association at Multipurpose Stadium, Fatorda.
Top seed Chandan defeated Ruhaan Shaikh 3-0 in the Boys Under-15 final and Rishan Shaikh by an identical margin in the Boys Under-19 final, while top seed Ishita overcame Aarna Lotlikar 3-0 in the Girls Under-15 final before defeating Neeza Kamat 3-1 to lift the Girls Under-19 crown.
In the other finals, top seed Ashank Dalvi produced a composed performance to defeat Aarish Shaikh 3-1 and clinch the Boys Under-11 title, while top seed Anaya Shukla registered a dominant 3-0 victory over Vanlalhriapuii to lift the Girls Under-11 crown.
In the Boys Under-13 final, second seed Ishaan Colaso pulled off a thrilling 3-2 upset over top seed Yug Prabhu, while second seed Tisha Shaikh stunned top seed Sachi Desai 3-1 in the Girls Under-13 final to emerge champion.
