Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant released five volumes of trial of Freedom Fighters and also inaugurated a special exhibition on portraits of freedom fighters in Panaji on Thursday. The function was organised by Department of Goa Gazetteer & Historical Records.
The Chief Minister praised the portraits painted by students of Goa College of Art and promised that the high quality work will be displayed at the Goa State Museum.
Secretary (Gazetteer), Prasad Lolayekar, IAS; President of the Goa Daman Diu Freedom Fighters Association, Rohidas Naik Desai and others were also present.
