PANAJI: Verna-based Colorcon Asia Pvt Ltd, has donated an ambulance to CHC Bicholim.
At a brief function at the Assembly porch;
Dr Rajesh Parab, Managing Director of South Asia for Colorcon, handed over the symbolic keys of the ambulance to Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant, who in turn handed over the keys to Dr Medha Salkar, Health Officer, CHC Bicholim, in the presence of Speaker and Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar. Vishwajit Rane, Health Minister, Dr Jose Sa Director (Health Services), Sarvesh Parab, Director Human Resource, Colorcon South Asia, were also present.
CM Dr Sawant lauded Colorcon company’s initiative of donating an ambulance worth Rs 13 lakh to CHC Bicholim and also their involvement in supporting government’s vision in general.
Colorcon is a world leader in the design and development of specialty excipients for solid oral dosages for the pharmaceutical and nutritional industries. The global company has a facility at Verna Industrial Estate (South Goa) with manufacturing, distribution sales and technical service lab sections.
