LNG: What are the latest arrivals at Cottons Daily?
RD: Cotton Combos in fabrics (includes kurta and bottom fabric combo), Bengal Cotton Sarees including Dhakai Jamdani and tant as well as Odisha weaves in cotton sarees are the latest arrivals. Not to forget , Mul Cotton Sarees which are always freshly stocked with new designs and are fast moving item on our website.
LNG. How has the response been for Goan hand-crafted Kunbi Sarees?
RD: The response for Kunbi Sarees is very good and the handicraft is welcomed and loved by our customers. We feel proud in promoting our own Goan product along with supporting artisans.
LNG. Through your venture of promoting nationwide weaves, you are also promoting Unity in Diversity. How has the journey been?
RD: Yes, definitely! Cottons Daily has diverse range of weaves – be it block print from Rajasthan, linen weaves from Bhagalpur, Bihar, Bengal Cotton from West Bengal, Kanchipuram silk from South India, Paithanis from Maharashtra, Ilkals from Karnataka, Maheshwaris of Madhya Pradesh, Banarasi weaves of Uttar Pradesh and so on. Bringing all regional varieties altogether on one platform itself marks unity in diversity for Cottons Daily.
LNG. What are the new trends emerging in cottons women’s wear that you wish to incorporate?
RD: Cotton ‘Kaftans’ is the new emerging trend among women and this outfit is most suitable in vacation, leisure as well as nightwear. We are happy to introduce a variety in kaftans. Another emerging trend is Goan Kunbi Saree, the only handwoven masterpiece of Goan artisans.
