Damodar HSS and Harmal Panchakroshi HSS won the boys and girls U-19 state-level Sepak Takraw tournament respectively. The tournaments were organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Damodar HSS, Gudi-Paroda, got the better of St. Francis Xavier HSS, Siolim, 2-1 at multipurpose indoor hall, Fatorda, in the boys final. In the 3rd place match, VRDs Gauncar HSS, Raia, defeated Vasantrao Dempo HSS, Cujira 2-1.
In the girls final, Harmal Panchakroshi HSS, Harmal defeated Cuncolim United HSS, Cuncolim, 2-1. Kamakshi Education Society’s HSS, Curti-Ponda, beat Our Lady of the Rosary HSS, Dona Paula 2-0 for third place.
