Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant stated that the Government of Goa is open to taking suggestions, recommendations discussed at the Green Goa Summit; into account during the policy formation. He addressed the valedictory function of the Summit in the presence of Industries, Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho; former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu among other industry leaders at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan Goa on Saturday.
The Chief Minister categorically stated that the government will support only those industries implementing the best practices. He also appealed to the industry leaders to invest in Green industries to create Green jobs.
Dr. Sawant congratulated Vibrant Goa Foundation, GEDA, DITC, Goa State Pollution Control Board for organising the Summit, which aligns with the government’s sustainable development goals.
