Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant’s initiative to convince Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) Ahmedabad to set up a centre in Goa, is set to prove a masterstroke with the high-quality training programmes being offered to provide immense knowledge to the aspiring entrepreneurs and students; coupled with the wholehearted financial support from EDC Limited, the 50-year-old economic development & growth-sparking corporation of the Government of Goa, to set off the aspirants on the path to self-employment.

During the Valedictory Function of the 13th EDP on Friday, EDC Ltd. Managing Director, B S Pai Angle emphasised on the significance of developing an understanding of entrepreneurship skills, which are not part of academics across the schools or colleges. “These programmes are organised to help the entrepreneurs community or those leaning towards entrepreneurship so that they learn the skills in a systemic and organised manner,” he explained.
