Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alankit Assignments Limited for starting Elderline an helpline to cater senior citizens in the State of Goa.
The MoU marked the celebrations of International Day for Senior Citizens, organised by the Directorate of Social Welfare in Margao. MLA of Margao Digambar Kamat graced the occasion. Secretary, Social Welfare, E. Vallavan, IAS; Director Social Welfare, Ajit Panchwadkar & others were also present.
WRD Minister, Subhash Shirodkar; Fatorda MLA, Vijai Sardesai; along with Digambar Kamat, attended the World Elders Day function organised by Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, in association with All Goa Senior Citizens Federation.
