PANAJI: Former Delhi star batsman, Krishnan Bhaskar Pillai has been named head coach of Goa Ranji Trophy team.

KP Bhaskar (58), who has formerly coached Delhi and Uttarakhand among others, has over 15 years of coaching experience in First Class cricket and National Cricket Academy.

Goa Cricket Association in a press release, said that the final interview with the shortlisted candidates took place via Google Meet today and the committee selected Krishnan Bhaskar Pillai as the head coach while other candidates to be discussed were Sulakshan Kulkarni (Mumbai), Mansoor Ali Khan (Karnataka), Sandeep Dahad (Maharashtra), Shaun Tait (Australia).
