FC Goa have announced the signing of Spanish striker Christian ‘Chiki’ Borrego Isabel on a one-year contract until the end of the 2026–27 season.
The 29-year-old forward joins the Gaurs after an impressive career in Spanish football, where he has represented clubs including Rayo Vallecano B, CF Fuenlabrada, UD San Sebastián de los Reyes, and AD Alcorcón. A prolific goalscorer with a keen eye for goal, intelligent movement, and strong link-up play, Chiki brings valuable experience and attacking quality to FC Goa ahead of the new campaign.
Known for his sharp positioning inside the penalty area, clinical finishing, and relentless
work ethic, Chiki is capable of leading the line while also contributing to the team’s pressing and build-up play. His versatility across the forward line and consistent goal-scoring record make him an exciting addition to the Gaurs’ attacking unit.
