Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly, Ramesh Tawadkar, distributed sanction orders of Forest Right Titles and also inaugurated Workshop-cum-Training on ‘Entrepreneurship & Forest Rights Act, 2006’.
Art & Culture Minister, Govind Gaude also graced the function organised by Goa State Scheduled Tribes Finance & Development Corporation Limited / Tribal Research Institute, Goa and Directorate of Tribal Welfare at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda.
Chairperson, Goa Commission for SC /ST, Deepak Karmalkar, Chairman GSSTFDCL, Vasudev Gaonkar, Director,Tribal Welfare, Dashrath Redkar, Director, Tribal Research Institute & Managing Director, GSSTFDCL, Shankar Gaonkar, President UTTA, Prakash Velip were also present among others.
It may be recalled that the President of India, Droupadi Murmu during her visit to Goa last month, had distributed ‘Sanad’ under the Forest Rights Act to some beneficiaries on the occasion, to launch the initiative.
